Paranoid Android Sapphire: Coming support for Google Pixel 6 Pro

Although the practice of modding may not be as widespread as in years past, custom Android ROMs still offer incredible possibilities and one of the most popular is definitely Paranoid Android. Today we discover an important new arrival announced directly by the development team.

At the moment the list of devices supported by Paranoid Android Sapphire is limited to a few manufacturers such as OnePlus, POCO, Redmi and Xiaomi, but soon the roster will be enriched with the inclusion of the infamous Google Pixel 6 Pro.

Paranoid Android Sapphire runs ROM on Google Pixel 6 Pro

The Paranoid Android team announced via Twitter that they have managed to run the Android 12 -based Sapphire ROM on the Google Pixel 6 Pro. Although the ROM is not yet available, the announcement certainly represents an important step towards a public release.

Of course, there may still be a lot of things to fix, so it’s a good idea to moderate the enthusiasm just enough. However, it is logical to imagine that Paranoid Android support could also arrive on other smartphones in the Google Pixel range in the future, in particular the Google Pixel 6.
