Apple removes Apple TV app supports HDR10+ description for iOS 16/iPadOS 160/macOS 13 Ventura

According to the latest report, after Tuesday’s WWDC22 keynote, Apple released iOS 16, iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura preview pages outlining all the new features. All three sites listed “HDR10+” support in the Apple TV app as an upcoming feature, but that description has now been removed.

Apple today updated the All-New Features” page for iOS 16, iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura to clear any mention of HDR10+ support for the Apple TV app. It was said before:

  • HDR10+ support
  • The Apple TV app now supports the latest generation of the high dynamic range technology.

All three sites have removed mentions of HDR10+, suggesting the feature won’t be present in any version of the Apple TV app. It’s possible that Apple will add it back as a feature in the future, but for now, it doesn’t appear that those expecting HDR10+ support won’t get it in iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and macOS Ventura.
