Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 appeared on Geekbench: Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip 12GB memory

Following the exposure of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 running points, today the Galaxy Z Fold 4 also appeared in the GeekBench benchmarking library. The model is “SM-F936U”, which is the US version of the Galaxy Z Fold 4, running Android 12, using Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and 12GB of memory. The Z Fold 4 may only have a 12GB option, and tech media believe that Samsung is unlikely to launch a 16GB model.

While the memory capacity will likely remain the same, Samsung is expected to increase the maximum storage from 12GB in the Fold3 to 1TB in the Fold4. The Fold4 is also said to be lighter than the Fold 3 but packs a 4,400mAh battery — the same size as the Fold3. Rumors also suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Fold4’s foldable screen will have a less prominent crease that looks smoother than the Fold3’s.
