So far, Final Fantasy VII Remake has been available exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 – and for PC via the Epic Games Store. But now Square Enix has announced that the remake is now also available on Steam. You can buy the game using the link just provided.
It is the “Intergrade” version, which contains additional content about the character Yuffie. According to the developers, the game is also compatible with the Steam Deck. Well, unfortunately, it is still unclear whether and when the game could also reach the Xbox consoles. After all, you can now get started on the PC via another provider.

I’ve played the remake on the PS4 and PS5 and personally think it’s even better than the original. However, I was rather disappointed with “Final Fantasy VII” at the time, which I am certainly an exception. That was because I was a huge fan of Final Fantasy VI, which is still one of my favorite games of all time. So I wasn’t too keen on the new focus on science fiction.
