Windows 11 Build 22000.740 update released

Microsoft today pushed the Windows 11 21H2 Build 10.0.22000.740 update, and according to Microsoft officials, today released an out-of-band data (OOB) update to address issues with Azure Active Directory services on ARM-based devices. These cumulative updates are available on Windows Update and other channels.

This security update includes quality improvements. Major changes include:

Addresses a known issue that affects only Windows ARM-based devices and may prevent sign-in with Azure Active Directory (AAD). Apps and services that use AAD to sign in, such as virtual private network connections, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Outlook, may also be affected.

Important This issue only affects Windows devices with ARM processors. No other platform will receive this out-of-band (OOB) update. This OOB update is a cumulative update. If users are using an update released before June 14, 2022, Microsoft recommends installing this OOB update instead of the June 14, 2022 security update.

If the user installed an earlier update, only the new update contained in this package will be downloaded and installed on the device.
