OPPO’s self-developed chip will be delegated to Realme and OnePlus

The Mariana MariSilicon X is an image-specific NPU chip independently designed and developed by OPPO. It uses a 6nm process and is currently installed in some of OPPO’s flagship mobile phones.

According to digital blogger Digital Chat Station, OPPO will release the Mariana MariSilicon X to Realme and OnePlus later, we can look forward to it. Earlier news said that Vivo will take the lead in delegating its own V1 image chip to the iQOO 10 series, and the latest news says that OPPO will also follow. However, there is no news yet that Xiaomi C1 will be delegated to Redmi.

Mariana MariSilicon X is an image-specific NPU chip independently designed and developed by OPPO. It integrates the self-developed MariNeuro®️ AI computing unit, providing a maximum effective computing power of 18TOPS and an energy efficiency performance of 11.6TOPS/W.

For example, when running OPPO’s self-developed AI noise reduction algorithm, Mariana MariSilicon X can achieve a processing speed of 40fps in 4K specifications.

The Mariana MariSilicon X also features an innovative dual-layer storage architecture that integrates an on-chip memory subsystem and is also equipped with independent DDR bandwidth with a transfer speed of 8.5GB/sec. In addition, the MariLumi image processing unit supports up to 20bit processing bit width and supports 20bit Ultra HDR.
