Ubisoft withdraws 500 million euro bond repurchase program

According to reports, the French video game company Ubisoft on Wednesday canceled a 500 million euro debt repurchase program, citing poor market conditions.

“Given the current state of the market, Ubisoft has decided to withdraw its tender offer for the €500,000,000 1.289% existing outstanding bond due 2023,” the company said in a statement.

Ubisoft announced earlier this month that it would restructure debt by repurchasing bonds and issuing new ones.
