Luna’s cloud gaming coming to Samsung Smart TVs and Smart Monitors

Samsung’s Gaming Hub will soon be enriched with a new cloud gaming service. The Korean giant has just launched a new gaming platform that includes Xbox Cloud, NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW, Google Stadia and Utomik. The release phase, which began last week, currently includes the US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Korea and Brazil.

The number of supported services will soon be enriched with Luna, Amazon’s cloud gaming currently available in the United States. This was communicated by Amazon itself through an article reported on the official Luna blog. As for the Xbox Cloud, Luna will also arrive on Samsung TVs in the 2022 range and on Smart monitors such as the M8 series, the only products on which the Gaming Hub platform is present.

Overall, the offer consists of over 250 games made by developers such as Capcom and Ubisoft. The titles are included within channels to which the user can subscribe:

George Tsipolitis, Director of Amazon Luna, said:

Luna makes it easy to access games on devices you already own, and you’ll soon be able to access titles like Ubisoft’s Far Cry 6 and SEGA’s Sonic Colors Ultimate directly from your Samsung Smart TVs or Smart Monitors. We are excited to offer consumers new ways to play and look forward to hearing about our customers’ experience on the Samsung Gaming Hub.

Recall that Luna is already available on PC, Mac, Fire TV, Fire tablet, iOS, Android and Chromebook. Amazon and Samsung have not precisely defined the timing of the release of the Luna application on televisions and monitors in the 2022 range: we speak generically of a short arrival (“coming soon”).
