Recently Snapchat has introduced a Remix feature, the company’s new method to let know the user’s reaction to Snaps and Stories from friends.
Announced in June 2022, the feature is now spread out to Snapchat users for Android and iPhone. We shared with you detailed information on how you can use this feature and remix Snaps on Snapchat.
What was the new feature remix on Snapchat?
Remix permits you to record a video response to a friend’s Snap when their clip plays directly next to it.
When you record your Remix, you have the choice to select different formats, like whether your video appears next to, above, or in the corner of the original clip.
Snapchat Remix is the same as TikTok Duet which features that let’s help you react to your friends’ Snaps and Stories.
You can use the feature to record and send responses to Snaps from other Snapchat users.
With the help of these features from the Memories tab, You also get the choice to Remix your own old Snaps.
While you can save remixes to your friend’s chat window, it’s also worth mentioning your Snapchat Remix just yet and you can’t download it.
If you can use Instagram then you can also use these features to Remix reels on Instagram to react and reply to the short videos shared by others on the Instagram platform.
Duets are basically two-in-one videos alongside the new one that show the original video. TikTok, like Snapchat, gives permission to users to change the layout of the Duet.
Now see how you can Remix your snap on Snapchat
- Open the Stories tab and choose the Snap you want to Remix.
Click in the top-right corner there are three vertical dots icons, then select Remix Snap.
2. You can select any other different frames from the layout menu on the left to spice things up.
3. Edit your Snap as you normally would; you can add GIFs to aromatic things up, or select from the selection of stickers, filters, and many more.
4. Open your Snapchat app and click on the people icon in the bottom navigation bar to move to the “Stories” section.
5. Now you will get access to the camera viewfinder to respond to the Snap.
6. Use the on-screen buttons to position while reacting to the original snap response or use some special effects.
7. Click the close button at the bottom to record and confirm the remix.
8. Then, press the Send icon to send your Snapchat remix.
Using Snapchat Remix collaborate with your friends
If you want to collaborate with your friends then you need to know some basic steps for Snapchat. Although Snapchat Remix isn’t as flexible it’s the same as TikTok duets or Instagram Remix reels counterparts.
