God of War Ragnarok: The limited edition map anticipates the presence of the 9 Kingdomes

Yesterday they were all so happy with the announcement of the release date of God of War Ragnarok that even the most attentive fans have missed a very interesting detail shown in the unboxing video of the limited editions.

To accompany the long-awaited reveal of the release date, in fact, Sony and Santa Monica Studio have released the video in which a developer and the actor who lent the voice and the movements to Thor unpacked the most expensive editions of God of War Ragnarok.

And it is precisely one of the contents of these packs full of objects that have attracted the attention of enthusiasts. At a certain point in the video, it is possible to observe the fabric map of the game world, which allows us to see all nine realms, including those that were inaccessible in the previous chapter.

If in 2018 God of War we only explored Alfheim, Hellheim, Muspelheim, Nilfheim and Jotunheim, this time we can also go to unexplored places like Asgard. The most attentive fans have also noticed the presence of a figure in correspondence of Muspelheim, which could be the fire demon called Surtur, a probable boss that we will face when returning to the kingdom already explored.

But that’s not all, as in the lower right corner of the map you can see a sort of snake which, if the community’s hypotheses were to be confirmed, would correspond to the legendary dragon Nidhogg.

In short, it seems that the secrets hidden around the map are many and we can’t wait to discover them all when the game hits shelves on November 9, 2022, on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
