Samsung confirms Galaxy S22 Bora Purple, debut on July 15

Galaxy S22 will soon also be offered in a brand new Lavender color. The first to have provided information about it was the leaker Ice Universe, who on social media published a partial image of a wallpaper dedicated to Samsung’s top range that incorporates this color. Confirmation also came from Samsung itself.

After all, the South Korean company has already accustomed us in the past to this type of strategy: proposing the current flagship on the market with a new mid-cycle coloration can only push sales that inevitably start to show a physiological slowdown.

It had already happened, for example, last year with the Galaxy S21 Ultra Navy, but the competition has also repeatedly exploited this commercial technique: Apple, for example, launched it’s iPhone 13 in green just in mid-cycle, in March. Now it could be the Galaxy S22 in Lavender Purple color.

However, there is still very little information on this. Ice Universe is usually well-informed about the Samsung environment, but relying solely on wallpaper to confirm the imminent debut of a lavender version of the Galaxy S22 would seem rather pretentious at the moment. And we don’t even know if the new color will eventually be exclusive to one of the three models or maybe just the Ultra version.

If the color changes, certainly the technical characteristics will not change, destined to remain unchanged. Galaxy S22 still represents Samsung’s top-of-the-range offering, waiting for the Asian company to officially present the 2022 generation of Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip. The two models – Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 – are expected in August.

The rumor has become a certainty: the Indonesian site Samsung has started a countdown in which the arrival of new colors for the Galaxy S22 series is announced on July 15th. And the predominant color of the teaser is purple … Will it also come to us? And to tell us the exact name of the color is Roland Quandt: Bora Purple, exactly like the Galaxy Buds2 Pro earphones seen today in the renderings.
