In view of the launch of the Genshin Impact Update 2.8, Hoyoverse has announced the date and time of the maintenance that will take the servers offline for several hours, thus making it impossible to log in and access the game.
The works will start at the stroke of midnight on 13 July 2022, (at 00:00 on the night between 12 and 13 July). As usual, to reward players’ patience, there will be free Primogems that they can redeem as soon as they have completed the installation of the new version.
According to information shared by Hoyoverse on the official Genshin Impact website, the estimated duration of the maintenance is five hours. Barring unforeseen events, it will therefore be possible to return to play starting at 05:00 in the morning of 13 July. Fortunately, as usual, this is a comfortable enough time for European players, with the exception of those who like to stay late.
As per tradition, to reward players’ patience, Hoyoverse will give away a bonus of 300 Primogem for free (60 for each hour of maintenance), to which another 300 will be added for solving problems within the game, for a total of 600 Primogem, which all players will be able to redeem from Paimon’s inbox, provided they have reached Adventure Rank 5 or higher.
