Halo Infinite: Co-op campaign will not have online matchmaking, Xbox suggests using Discord

According to an Xbox spokesperson, Halo Infinite’s co-op campaign mode will not include any online matchmaking features, even after the full version of that mode is released. Additionally, Microsoft suggested using Discord.

Xbox’s official statement reads: “Online matchmaking will not be available with the final version of co-op mode. We encourage you to continue using the Halo LFG and the new Discord voice call feature on Xbox to find players with which to create a party while continuing to play the beta. ”

It, therefore, seems that to find other players willing to play it will be necessary to take advantage of the external functions of the Xbox. One of these is Discord, which has recently been made available to a limited number of players. As we have indicated, this is a voice chat function, which can be used directly on the Xbox (One and Series X | S).

As for Halo Infinite, this may not be a huge problem for many players, as they would likely be playing the co-op campaign mode with a friend rather than a stranger. In any case, it is always a disappointment when certain functions are missing. Finally, we point out some video leaks showing the Forge and the customization options.
