At a launch event in China on December 28, 2021, Xiaomi released MIUI 13 to its latest and older devices. As you’d expect, MIUI 13 comes with a bunch of new features and performance improvements, including new privacy features, a new system font, a bunch of cool wallpapers, and even a version optimized for tablets. How to Upgrade to MIUI 13
- Please back up your data and apps before upgrading to MIUI 13.
- Please go to the Updater app and check for updates (or download Recovery ROM).

- MIUI 13 Global beta version based on Android 12 is released for Redmi Note 9S – GL-V13.0.2.
- MIUI 13 Global version based on Android 12 is now rolling out to Redmi Note 9 – GL-V13.0.1 (excluding Peru, South Africa and Turkey).
- MIUI 13 Global version based on Android 12 is now rolling out to Redmi Note 9T – GL-V13.0.2, GL-EEA-V13.0.2 (excluding Poland and France).
- MIUI 13 Global version based on Android 12 is now rolling out to Redmi Note 11 Pro – GL-V13.0.2 (excluding Morocco, United Arab Emirates and Egypt).
- MIUI 13 Global version based on Android 12 is now rolling out to Redmi Note 11 – GL-IN-V13.0.1.
- MIUI 13 Stable GL-V13.0.4 (Android 12) for Redmi Note 11 has only been pushed to GL-V13.0.12 (Android 11). V13.0.15, still on Android 11, and will be upgraded to Android 12 later.
