According to the latest report shared by Taiwan Economic Daily, Tesla’s official website in Taiwan, China, removed the Model 3 long-range version from the sale, and it will not be available for sale again until 2023.
The data show that Tesla reportedly sold 4,552 new vehicles in Taiwan in H1 2022, but it registered 4,553 vehicles in the first seven months, only one more than in June. In terms of total listings, the first seven months were still more than 1.5 times higher than the same period last year.
Taiwan media pointed out that the market speculates that Tesla’s new car delivery is still in a difficult stage at this stage, which may be caused by the lack of materials for some parts, and the sales of hot-selling models need to be suspended first.
