Tesla FSD beta rolling out slowly due to many major code changes

Elon Musk earlier reported that Tesla will roll out FSD Beta 10.69 update for its Tesla models. Today, Elon Musk shared some details through Twitter that the FSD Beta 10.69 will roll out slowly due to many major code changes. But, 1,000 car owners will receive early access to the FSD 10.69 Beta over the weekend.

As per the report, Tesla FSD Beta 10.69 allows cars to automatically drive to the destination set in the navigation system. Under the strict supervision of the authorities concerned with the matter, still at this stage, the FSD is treated as L2 Driver Assistance – meaning the driver is not left with full control on the Autopilot but is alert to handle the driving at all times. Need to be ready.

As for the last push, it can be traced back to the 10.12 version in May this year, so Tesla has not pushed the FSD Beta update to early adopters for a while. Back in July, Elon Musk said that FSD Beta 10.13 would arrive within a week. But because Musk wants to push the larger 10.69 update to more people, the test scale of 10.13 is still quite limited.

On Friday, a Silicon Valley Tesla owner asked when the FSD Beta update 10.69 would be rolled out. Musk replied:

Due to many major code improvements, this push requires more caution. Tesla will be listening to feedback after pushing 10.69 to about 1,000 owners this Saturday. And it plans to push 10.69.1 to about 10,000 car owners next week, and 10.69.2 to the remaining car owners two weeks later.
