Google enabled Pixel VoLTE roaming

This year, the carrier stop support for 3G cellular networks and Google describe this effect on Pixel users. Meanwhile released Voice over LTE (VoLTE) roaming update.   •  Pixel 4a (5G), Pixel 5
  • Pixel 5a(5G)
  • Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro

That June security patch update described the Pixel 3a and got an update, while the May month update was not the final one. The other phones also get updates to start from this month. If you are using old devices of Pixel, then you face issues related to network and you need to upgrade to VoLTE enabled for your carrier.

Devices without VoLTE roaming support will not be able to roam on other LTE US networks. Contact your carrier for information about whether VoLTE or VoLTE roaming is supported for your device.

International customers use roaming devices, and they are losing connectivity due to not having VoLTE roaming support. This carrier network in the US affects the connectivity of international customers.
