Google Search and YouTube brings better healthcare information option

In the US, healthcare is an important topic, but still, most people can’t access basic healthcare services. Some can’t take benefit of such services because of a lack of information about them. Google continuously working to build features which easy access to healthcare services. The company keeps trying to help users and expand its work on this. As per the annual Health Equity Summit, the company announced that they are developing features that add to Google Search and give information about the health-related program. When users know about Medicare and Medicaid programs, they participate in them.

In the coming days, knowing about healthcare programs and how to enroll in that programs are easy to access. Users who enroll in those programs or are already enrolled get the information from the provider of healthcare programs. This update came last year, they provide an option where users search as par providers that accept Medicare. Now, this option is also available with Medicaid.

There is a program called Medicaid which provides healthcare service to those who has low-income adult, children, persons with disabilities, and more. From the report of May 2022, 81 million people get benefits through this program, and at least four get covered by Medicaid.

Furthermore, Google collaborate with the Kaiser Family Foundation to bring a new YouTube dubbed THE-IQ. Such foundations as Loveland Foundation, National Birth Equity Collaborative (NBEC), and Satcher Health Leadership Institute for bringing the series on YouTube which is based-on healthcare. In this YouTube series, experts discuss that the lack of healthcare information affects the community majorly.

The Company also keeps working on the Fitbit Health Equity Research Initiative to support people who seeking health help.
