On Android, customize Search widgets easily by Google app

With the customizable Search widgets, you can add the Search widgets to your homepage, you can open Google app on your Android phone or tablet. you can find this option on your device at the top of your Profile picture or initial >Settings>Search widget>Customize widget. This option Google released in 2018 through this you can click on the icons and modify the color, shape, transparency, and Google logo.

This customizable Search widgets feature is available in the Android 12+ version. Users can manually set the Search widgets on the homescreen of their phone but not the bottom of the Pixel Launcher. here below you can see how can you customize the app.

  • Bar logo: “Google” or multicolored ‘G’ at the left
  • Bar shape: Rectangle with slightly rounded corners, more prominent curvature, or default pill-shape
  • Bar color: Dark with four-color icons, light with gray, black with white, or custom with hue and saturation adjustments
  • Bar shading: Slider from See through to Solid

After changing you can also preview with your background wallpaper and a “Save” button in the corner. A Reset to Default Style shortcut is available at the bottom. Before, this feature came you could only access this page from the Google app > Settings > Search Widget (at the bottom) > Customize widget. Now users can change their application as they like with customized Search widgets.
