Galaxy phones will receive Seamless Updates by Samsung One UI 6.0

On 12 October 2022, Samsung launched the One UI 5 version at the Samsung Developer Conference 2022 event with amazing features like personalizing the lock screen, setting a video in the background, and much more. Now, the company’s executive shared about the plans for the One UI 5.0 and the next version One UI working process.

Samsung Galaxy phones will receive Seamless Updates next year

Right now, Samsung’s phone won’t have the Android Android’s Seamless Updates feature. When the phone’s new update is installed you can’t do other work during the update. They are working now on this and plan to bring this feature to the next version of UI.

Maybe the next One UI version will not come to Chromebooks at Tizen OS-powered Samsung smart TVs

Now, Samsung’s smartphones, tablets, and wearables run on One UI. The design elements are also used in the company’s laptops running Windows 11. But, Sally confirmed that One UI is not coming to its Chromebooks and TVs. She also said that One UI would continue to look different from stock Android UI.

Samsung’s software support

The company enhances its software support in past years. Samsung’s newfound commitment to updates is also related to its sustainability practices. If users use phones for longer, it reduces the overall landfill and lowers Samsung’s overall environmental impact. Hyesoon (Sally) Jeong also shared that the company has very efficient software development and testing processes, which is why it has been able to roll out updates to all its phones fast.

Finally, last week One UI 5 launched with amazing features, if you won’t update your Samsung phone to the latest OS version you must experience its new features.
