Google has today released Developer Preview 1 of Android 14 for all its Pixel phones (models above Pixel 4 series). Google has introduced many new things in Android 14. We have put all the details of Android 14 in the latest article, you can check by clicking here.
Talking about Pixel 4 series, what do you think will the Android 14 update be provided to Pixel 4 series or not? The answer is probably not because Google has not included this device in the developer preview.
But if we talk about the Android developer page, then Pixel 4a (5G) has been added to the list of How to get Android 14 Developer Preview 1, so right now we cannot confirm whether this device will get this update or not.
Pixel 4a was launched in August 2020 with Android 10 after which the device received 3 major Android updates Android 11, Android 12 and Android 13. The Pixel 4a, just misses that deadline, as its three-year anniversary will fall on August 3, 2023.
Android Beta is not currently available for Android 14 via the Android Beta program. Enrollment is only available for Android 13 QPR Betas, but we’ll invite consumers to enroll in Android 14 Beta as we get closer to the final product.
