Tesla FSD Beta version 11 delayed again

Tesla’s all-important FSD beta v11 update has been postponed again due to some serious issues. Tesla continuously releases new software updates for the FSD test program. Since the big beta launch last year, more than 400,000 Tesla owners in North America have joined the program, meaning nearly all Tesla owners who have purchased the FSD package have joined.

Tesla’s FSD Beta V11 was originally supposed to launch in November 2022 but due to some problems it has not been released yet and has been in Tesla’s closed fleet for testing.

This update includes several new neural networks. Elon Musk says it’s also important from a consumer perspective because it promises to be Tesla’s FSD beta software stack, used mostly on highways and city streets. Merged with Tesla’s Autopilot software stack, it is used as a secondary driver assistance system on the highway.

According to the report, Tesla FSD Beta v11 will arrive this week. But it will be a “limited beta,” meaning the update will only be pushed to a small number of early testers. Musk admitted that v11 was “much more difficult than expected” as the update brought “neural network re-architecture” to the FSD beta. Beyond that, it’s not clear what the update is returning.
