Android 13 QPR3 Beta 2 has several visual bugs with Edit menu in QS

Google recently released the second beta of the Android 13 QPR3 for its eligible Pixel devices. The latest update brings build number T3B2.230316.003 and it also includes March 2023 security patch. This update improves Adaptive Charging which can automatically adjust to your charging needs using on-device signals.

There are, actually, three separate bugs. They are greatly visible at regular speeds, but the user recorded them with slow animations to better see the bugs.

  • The Lower part of QS (apps available, settings and power) moves down when you open the QS tile editor.
  • Tiles in QS and in the editor are not placed identically, editor tiles are a few pixels lower than they must be.
  • The black background in the editor disappears when you close it, but it happens not every time. In the video, it happened the first two times, but then it was okay, so, 2/4 times.

Google Fixes These 5 Bugs in Android 13 QPR3 Beta 2

  • Fixed an issue that caused the volume panel to flicker when adjusting the volume using the volume buttons.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the system UI to get stuck in a blurry state in some cases, such as unlocking the device or finishing a phone call.
  • Fixed an issue where the notification shade was closing immediately after a user opened it.
  • Fixed an issue where the always-on display was displayed over apps and other content after unlocking the device.
  • Fixed an issue where a device couldn’t copy apps and data wirelessly during first-time setup.
