The Pixel 8’s smaller display will supposedly be 6.16 inches

In recent years, most flagship phones have gone smaller, but the Pixel 8’s display appears to show that Google is trying to make up for the difference by being a little smaller than expected.

For quite a long time, Google’s Pixel arrangement offered little and enormous variants of successfully a similar telephone. Also, the more modest Pixels were probably the best little telephones you could purchase at those times. However, when the Pixel 6 series was introduced, both the standard Pixel 6 and the larger Pixel 6 Pro debuted with enormous displays. Customers were looking at displays of at least 6.4 inches.

The Pixel 7 debuted with a 6.3-inch display the following year, which marked a slight size reduction. The phone’s new, slimmer design also heavily emphasized the reduced size.

However, rumors have suggested that the Pixel 8 will be even smaller. In December, we first heard that the phone would be smaller. Later, CAD-based leaks showed that the display would be around 6.2 inches.

The Pixel 8 will have a 6.16-inch display panel, as stated by display analyst Ross Young. That isn’t much smaller than the Pixel 7, but it will certainly feel small when compared to the Pixel 8 Pro, which Young claims will have the same 6.7-inch display as the previous model. We’d figure that this will no doubt be gathered together to 6.2 creeps in advertising materials and spec sheets. Young also says that this is a display panel made by Samsung.

Due to this, Google’s phone would face increased competition from its main rivals. Samsung’s World S23 has a 6.1-inch show, as does Apple’s iPhone 14 Genius.

As is customary, Google will announce the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro sometime in October. If last year’s unexpected announcement is repeated, we may get a sneak peek next month at Google I/O. The Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold are expected to be unveiled at that event, as well as additional information regarding the Pixel Tablet.
