Microsoft Designer is now available to public to try it out

Microsoft Designer, an AI-powered design tool, has launched in public preview with expanded features. Announced in October, Designer is a Canva rival web app that can generate designs for presentations, posters, digital postcards, invitations, graphics and more to share on social media and other channels

Features:

  • It leverages user-created content
  • Uses DALL-E 2 to ideate designs
  • Ability to generate written captions and hashtags for social media posts
  • It can create animated visuals, complete with backgrounds and text transitions

Upcoming Features:

  • Editing Features: “Erase”
  • Replace background” options like Pixel’s Magic Eraser
  • Automated object placement and picture fill-in Designer

The designer will remain FREE during the public preview and also available in the Microsoft Edge browser. In the Future, it’ll be included in Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscriptions making only some features Free for non-subscribers.
