At Google I/O 2023, the company revealed that on Android 14 how Chrome browser will get the Predictive Gesture.
This Android 14 Predictive Gesture feature records the destination of the user so when they swipe back they go to the correct destination.
As per Google, the number of instances decreases with the back-to-home animation so it helps to user won’t leave the accidentally app. This feature increases user experience than before.
To enable this feature user needs to go to Settings App> Developer Options> Predictive Back. This feature is turned on by default in Android 14. With this feature, a developer can select this feature for each activity instead of the whole application.
