Recently, Google will be adding Google Tasks in place of reminders for Google Assistant and Google Calendar. They are planning to bring this task feature to Google apps since April.
About Google Tasks
Previously, users create reminders in Google Assistant and Calender but at present, they are creating Google Tasks.
Google is replacing the reminders from Assistant and Calendar apps and transferring them to Tasks. They still working on this feature and will complete it in Q2 2023.
The procedure of this app migrating reminders for Workspace users will start on May 22 and will take more time.
At last, the user’s created reminders still work as same as before and notify on time. From now on, no new reminders will be created only Tasks not reminders anymore.
