During PlayStation Conference, Sony confirmed that it’s working on a portable handheld and PlayStation Earbuds that lets you remotely play games over Wi-Fi. The handheld requires you to have the games installed on your PlayStation 5, as it’s meant as a companion to it and not a separate console with a remote play feature like PlayStation Vita.
- 8-inch HD display
- All of the buttons and features of the DualSense controller — like the adaptive triggers or haptic feedback
- Will run games up to 1080p and 60fps
Project Q will get launched later this year.
Along with Project Q, Sony has shown off their latest earbuds, the PlayStation Earbuds. With new technology, the earbuds will bring “next-generation audio immersion” and lossless audio with low latency to PS5 and PC. They will also connect to smartphones using Bluetooth. (very impressive, never seen before).
Take a sneak peek at new accessories revealed at today’s Showcase — the Project Q device for playing games installed on your PS5 and streamed over WiFi, plus our first official wireless earbuds offering lossless audio on PS5 and PC.
