Google Home bring automation routines to its web app

In the past weeks, the Google Home app brought improved camera features, powerful automation updates, and more. Now, Google brings the Google Home automation routines that are more useful, and now it comes to the Google Home web application.

In the Google Home web app, this update adds the Script Editor, and in the mobile app the current using routines outside of the app. Users can use this automation on the Home mobile app through voice commands. This same automation users never use on the Home web app.

Now, on the Google Home web app, is a new Automation tab, and users can see the list of routines and can activate them with one press.

Google Home routines-1In addition, users can set it to toggle for some acts like lighting, but this is not effective which Google Assistant does. In the below image, you can see these new settings. Users can’t edit currently available routines but can make changes in the created through the Script Editor. The company also brings enhancement to the Home app with a new design for cameras.

Lastly, users can see the more rounded design with an enhanced sidebar.
