WhatsApp for Android to introduce multiple account support

WhatsApp is taking steps to address user concerns by expanding the capabilities of its popular messaging service. Recent updates have allowed users to run their WhatsApp accounts on multiple phones, and now the company appears to be working on enabling the use of multiple accounts on a single smartphone.

In the latest WhatsApp beta update, specifically the Business version 2.23.13.5, WABetaInfo has discovered ongoing development for a multi-account feature within the app.

Historically, WhatsApp has limited accounts to a single device for an extended period. To overcome this limitation, many users have resorted to app cloning options, which some Android original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) like OnePlus have integrated directly into their devices.

By officially introducing support for multiple accounts, WhatsApp will enable users to seamlessly switch between accounts without exiting the app. While this feature was initially identified in the business version of WhatsApp, WABetaInfo suggests that evidence suggests it will also be available in the standard WhatsApp Messenger app.

The exact release date for this feature, whether for business or personal use, remains unknown. Nevertheless, it represents an exciting development for WhatsApp users.
