Samsung has commenced the rollout of the June 2023 security update for its range of phones and tablets, a process spanning the last three weeks. Among the devices benefitting from this update are the Galaxy A51, Galaxy A51 5G, and Galaxy A52.

The Galaxy A51 receives the new security update with firmware version A515FXXU7HWF1, while the Galaxy A51 5G is updated to firmware version A516BXXU7FWE2. These updates are currently available in the United Kingdom, and additional European countries are expected to follow suit in due course.

As for the Galaxy A52, it receives the security update accompanied by firmware version A525FXXU6DWE3. Presently, the update is being rolled out in India, Russia, and Sri Lanka. These updates address more than 60 security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy phones and tablets, through the implementation of the June 2023 security patch. However, no new features are introduced with these updates.

If you own a Galaxy A51, Galaxy A51 5G, or Galaxy A52 in any of the aforementioned countries, you can verify the availability of the update by navigating to the Settings menu, selecting “Software update,” and then tapping on “Download and install.” Alternatively, you have the option to manually download the latest firmware file from our comprehensive firmware database and proceed with a manual installation.
