June 13/2023: Samsung has initiated the rollout of the June 2023 security update for the Galaxy S21 series in Switzerland. It is expected that other regions will receive this update in the coming weeks. Notably, users of the Galaxy S21 lineup reported a pink line issue on the screen after installing the May 2023 update.
The latest security software update for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra, bearing the firmware version G998BXXU8EWF1/G998BOXM8EWF1/G998BXXU8EWF1, introduces the June 2023 security patch.
This patch addresses more than 60 security vulnerabilities identified in Galaxy phones and tablets, including certain issues associated with Exynos chips and the Knox security suite. To access the update, simply navigate to Settings, select Software Update, and tap on Download and Install.
