Galaxy A14 5G receives June 2023 security update

Samsung has commenced the rollout of the June 2023 security update for the Galaxy A14 5G. Presently, the update is being deployed in select Asian markets, while other countries and regions are expected to receive the software update in the coming weeks.

The Galaxy A14 5G’s latest software update, bearing firmware version A146PZHU3BWF1, is now available in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Taiwan. Notably, this update incorporates the June 2023 security patch, addressing more than 60 security vulnerabilities previously outlined in Samsung’s security documentation. However, it does not introduce any new features or performance enhancements.

Users residing in the aforementioned countries and owning a Galaxy A14 5G can now verify the availability of the software update. This can be accomplished by navigating to Settings, selecting Software Update, and then tapping on Download and Install. Alternatively, users can manually download the firmware file from our firmware database and install it using Samsung’s Odin tool on a Windows PC.

Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy A14 5G with Android 13 preinstalled. As part of its commitment to the entry-level smartphone, the company has assured users that they will receive two major Android OS updates: Android 14 and Android 15.
