Second firmware update released for Galaxy Buds 2 Pro shortly after previous update

Samsung has unveiled yet another firmware update for its Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, just a few weeks after the last update. The wireless earbuds are now receiving their second firmware update of the month.

Initially launched in South Korea, it is likely that the same update will soon be made available in other regions as well. If you are an owner of the Buds 2 Pro, it is recommended to check for new updates by accessing the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected mobile device.

The latest update, labeled as firmware version R510XXU0AWF4, focuses primarily on stabilization code. While not as feature-rich as the earlier June release, this update aims to enhance the overall reliability of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.

It remains unclear whether this update specifically addresses any issues that may have arisen after the initial June firmware release or if it resolves pre-existing concerns. The previous update, released earlier this month with firmware version R510XXU0AWF3, introduced significant improvements to the Ambient Sound feature and audio volume interface.

To manually check for new firmware updates for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, simply open the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected mobile device, select the earbuds, navigate to “Earbuds Settings,” and tap on “Earbuds software update.”
