Android Auto 9.9 introduces enhanced electric Car settings

Google recently released the final update for Android Auto version 9.9 shortly after its beta testing phase. This update is now available for download through the official Google Play Store, as well as other Google distribution channels. Simultaneously, a newer version, 9.8, was also pushed by Google.

Despite the lack of official announcements regarding major innovations, users have discovered new features and improvements on their own. Some bug fixes have likely been integrated, and a notable change observed is the ability to access Google Maps on a phone while Android Auto is active.

Notably, Android Auto has now incorporated comprehensive electric vehicle settings. These settings allow users to select charging plugs specific to European regions. However, the absence of quick access to charging stations within the Google Maps categories remains a concern for many users.

Obtaining the latest Android Auto app versions can be done in two ways. Users can opt for the conventional method of downloading directly from the Google Play Store, which also applies to the beta version. Alternatively, the APKMirror platform offers a faster alternative for obtaining updates.
