In the latest development surrounding the upcoming launch of the Google Pixel 8 series, new information has emerged, particularly concerning the Pro variant. Renowned leaker Yogesh Brar took to Twitter to share what appears to be the alleged data sheet for the Google Pixel 8 Pro (with the caveat that its reliability cannot be guaranteed).

Expected Specifications of the Google Pixel 8 Pro

According to the leaked information, the flagship smartphone from Google is anticipated to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with QHD+ resolution, LTPO technology, and an impressive 120 Hz refresh rate. Powering the device will be the Google Tensor G3 processor, which incorporates the Titan chip. In terms of memory, users can expect 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a choice of either 128 GB or 256 GB of storage memory with UFS 4.0 technology.

In the camera department, the Google Pixel 8 Pro is said to boast an 11-megapixel Samsung 3J1 front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. On the rear, it is rumored to house a triple camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization, accompanied by a 64-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 48-megapixel Samsung GN5 telephoto lens, featuring 5x optical zoom.

Additional features are expected to include an ultrasonic fingerprint recognition sensor, a temperature detection sensor, a 4,950 mAh battery with support for 27 W fast charging, and the operating system Android 14.

Yogesh Brar further confirms that the smartphone’s launch is slated for October. The pricing of the Google Pixel 8 Pro remains undisclosed, which is a significant aspect to consider given the competitiveness of the high-end segment.
