Galaxy Tab S9 FE series confirmed to feature singular rear camera

Samsung introduced the Galaxy Tab S9 series during the prestigious Galaxy Unpacked event held on July 26. Amidst the ongoing reviews of these high-end tablets by the technology community, Samsung is poised to launch a more streamlined iteration of the Galaxy Tab S9 series, identified as the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series. This upcoming line comprises the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ models.

In a recent development, following the acquisition of SafetyKorea certification, both tablets within the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series have successfully secured FCC certifications. The FCC certification has been granted to the 5G iterations of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. Notably, even the Wi-Fi-exclusive version of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE has triumphantly passed the FCC certification process.

Anticipated to offer notable charging capabilities, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE is projected to endorse 25W fast charging support. In accordance with the details gleaned from the FCC certification (as reported by MySmartPrice), the Wi-Fi edition of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE bears the model identification SM-X510. The certification disclosure also confirms the presence of a solitary rear-facing camera in this tablet. Further, the Wi-Fi-only model of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE is undergoing testing alongside a charger identified as model number EP-TA800, indicative of potential compatibility with 25W fast charging. It is important to note that projections suggest the fast charging capabilities could potentially scale up to 45W. At present, the comprehensive specifications of these tablets remain undisclosed.

Earlier reports had indicated that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE may enter the market with an approximate price tag of INR 63,999 (equivalent to ~$770) in India. It is also anticipated to boast a 10.9-inch display. Meanwhile, the larger variant, Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, is expected to showcase a 12.4-inch screen. Both impending tablets are poised to derive power from the Exynos 1380 processor, recognized for its performance akin to the Snapdragon 778G.
