IDC released the “Top Ten Insights into China’s PC Market in 2024” report, which predicts the trends of the domestic PC market this year, mainly focusing on “shipment growth” and “increased proportion of AI PCs.”
IDC said that as society gradually recovers after the epidemic and economic activities gradually return to normal, mainland China’s PC market will also usher in a recovery. Overall PC market shipments are expected to increase by 3.8% year-on-year.
IDC predicts that shipments in the first half of this year will increase by 1.5% year-on-year, and that the PC market will grow by 5.6% year-on-year in the second half of the year.
