FTSE Russell removes Xiaomi from the Global index

FTSE Russell will remove Xiaomi from the global index, effective from March 12. As of press time, Xiaomi has not yet received a reply.

Earlier, the US government included Xiaomi on the blacklist “related to the Chinese military.” According to the relevant investment ban, US investors are required to sell their shares in “blacklisted” companies before November 11 this year.
