The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 source code appears on the BT website

In February of this year, CDPR announced that they had been hacked and multiple internal documents and game source codes were leaked. It is reported that a hacker organization obtained the source code of The Witcher 3, The Witcher 3 Next Generation Edition, Cyberpunk 2077 and Gwent Card. Recently, the source code of the next-generation version of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 appeared on the BT website for download.

Previously, CDPR took some measures to prevent the source code of games such as Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 from spreading online. The method adopted is to send a DMCA notice to those who try to share the code online, and remove the BT seed link that contains the source code of the Gwent brand.

But obviously, such measures are not very effective. Because the source code of The Witcher 3 Next Generation Edition and Cyberpunk 2077 also appeared on the BT website. Although there are many fake BT seeds on the Internet, this can’t stop everyone’s passion. If you are interested in the source code of these games, you can try it at your own risk.

Recently, during the Q1 investor conference call in 2021, CDPR revealed details about the upcoming new patch for Cyberpunk 2077. Officials say that the new patch is almost ready and will be rolled out in the next few weeks.

This is a minor update patch, not a major update patch. It will fix and adjust some game bugs and issues reported by players. CDPR President Adam Kicinski was asked how many patches CDPR has prepared for Cyberpunk 2077 in the next 2-3 months.

He said: “I don’t want to announce anything in advance. I just want to say that the next patch is not a major update. Launched in the next few weeks, it is almost ready. Of course, we are still making further work and adding more updates. The new patches will mainly fix game bugs and problems, but our focus is on stability, performance, etc. In our opinion, this is the most important. Of course, I don’t want to promise anything. In the future, we will work to improve game performance and further improve game quality.”

Previously, CDPR claimed that the crash rate of the game was declining after multiple patches were released for Cyberpunk 2077. But obviously, this game still has a long way to go.
