Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 obtained FCC certification

The certification information of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 folding screen smartphone with a clamshell design has been revealed on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website. In addition to the 5G NR band and wireless charging support, the FCC has confirmed that both the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will soon meet with consumers.

Earlier news said that Samsung will release two new folding screens this summer. The FCC certification information once again hinted at the August release window. It is reported that the FCC website disclosed some key specifications of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 code-named SM-F711U.

Although details such as the chipset, screen size, shape design and camera are still kept secret, we at least know the 5G frequency bands it supports. Including 5G NR bands such as n71, n12, n5, n66, n2, n25, n30, n41, n77, n78, and n260 and n261.

As expected, Galaxy Z Flip 3 also supports NFC, multiple LTE frequency bands, and wireless charging (it seems to support EP-N5100’s 9W wireless charging power). Looking back at the 3C certification information exposed last month, Galaxy Z Flip 3 will also support 15W wired fast charging.

Finally, it is rumored that Samsung will launch two new folding screens, Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3, at the same time in August. It is expected that they will have minor changes in the exterior design, but the larger changes will still occur internally.

It is said that the Galaxy Z Flip 3 will be equipped with a 3273 mAh battery, a hidden camera under the UPC screen, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. As for the truth, please be patient and wait for the official announcement this summer.
