It is reported that each Apple Watch has a hidden interface, Apple internal personnel can use this port for diagnosis and other internal tests. However, the Apple Watch Series 3 prototype shown by Zompetti has two other unhidden mysterious interfaces, which are very similar to the smart connector on the iPad but are relatively smaller in size.

These interfaces may be new smart connector interfaces designed internally for Apple Watch testing. Zompetti said that Apple may be developing a “smart strap” for the early version of the Apple Watch Series 3. According to him, Apple is currently developing special sensors to add blood pressure monitoring to the new Apple Watch, which can be achieved through the aforementioned “smart watchband”.
