Google data recovery tool can relocate iOS WhatsApp chat history to Android platform

Recently, Google Play Store ushered in a new version of Google’s official data recovery tool. From the description, it seems that it will soon support the relocation of iOS WhatsApp chat history to the Android platform. However, by default, the Google Data Recovery Tool that comes with Android devices will only be displayed when a new device is configured.

Last week, we saw a separate application of Google Data Recovery Tool (version number 1.0.382047834) in the Google Play Store, which allows users to recover data through a wired connection or cloud backup. Although Google has not yet shared details about WhatsApp’s cross-platform chat history migration function, the code has been exposed.

For example, scan the QR code with WhatsApp on the iPhone, click Start and keep the phone unlocked. If there is a problem with the transfer, please go to the Settings -> Chat menu of WhatsApp and choose to transfer chat history to Android.

Earlier, WABetaInfo just discovered that the Android beta version of this instant messaging application owned by Facebook is experimenting with the ability to migrate chat history from the iOS user to the Android platform. At that time, however, the migration process only showed a wired connection between the two devices.
