August 2021 patch update released for Google Pixel devices (OTA Link)

Google’s Pixel 3, Pixel 3a, Pixel 4, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a (5G), and Pixel 5 now grabbed the current month’s patch – the August 2021 patch update. There are xx issues resolved in the August security patch dated 2021-08-01 and xx for 2021-08-05. Vulnerabilities range from high to critical, with the most severe relating to the media framework and a remote attacker possibly executing arbitrary code through a crafted file.

Google Pixel 5 mobile was launched on 30th September 2020. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.
