Samsung Electronics said on Thursday that by 2025, the company will use recyclable materials in all its new mobile terminal products and promised to minimize the impact on the environment. In order to achieve the initial sustainable development goals, Samsung said that it will first try to use recyclable materials in all-new mobile terminal products by 2025 and eliminate all plastics in mobile product packaging. The world’s largest smartphone manufacturer also plans to implement a smartphone charger zero-power standby, the goal is that by 2025 the standby power consumption to 0.005 watts. So far, the company has reduced the standby power consumption of all smartphone chargers to 0.02 watts.

In addition, Samsung said it will try to reduce waste in its mobile business workplaces. The company also promised to reduce e-waste by improving the product life cycle, through the Galaxy Upcycling design process, and the trade-in program.
