The latest save tag groups option adds in Google Chrome

In the Chrome browser, each user can use the tag group feature. Google in order to make it more useful in the future. Up to now, the company is working hard to allow users to save the tag group by providing a right-click menu option in the tag group name/tag, and then the tag group will be saved and restored the next time Chrome is launched.

Tag groups make it easier for users to organize tags. You can combine relative tags into a group and assign a name and color to distinguish them from other groups. You can create different label groups to keep the label bar tidy and free of clutter.

Until now, Chrome allowed to collapse the label group and even brought the label freeze function to save system resources. Chrome can automatically create a tag group from tags in the same field. The new version of Microsoft Edge also has label group folding and automatic creation functions.

Recently, Google has started work to provide an option in the Chrome browser to enable users to explicitly save and recall tag groups, which is now available in Canary.

How To Enable:

  • Make sure you are using the latest Chrome Canary 95.0.4617.0 or higher
  • Right-click on a label to add it to a new group, give it a name, and assign a unique color from the available colors. Add other tabs to the same group, or create a second group from other open tabs.
  • Visit chrome://flags/#tab-groups-save in the address bar
  • Find the Tab Groups Save tag
  • Select Enabled and restart the browser
  • Now, if you right-click the label group title, you will notice the Save group option, which has a toggle button to enable and disable label group saving.

Therefore, in addition to providing tab group options-create new tabs in the group, cancel the group, close the group, and move the group to a new window, Chrome also provides an option to save the group. It is worth noting that if you set the Chrome browser to start to resume the previous session, there will be no problem with the browser saving and restoring user-created label groups.
