From time to time the Google Photos team introduces new collections automatically generated by artificial intelligence to offer users nice albums with the best memories of the last months and in the past few hours, yet another collection of the series has arrived: we are talking about that call Best of Summer 2021.
Probably those who are attentive to the news concerning the Mountain View giant will not be too surprised by this new collection or by the name chosen, as in recent months the Google Photos team has already introduced Best of Winter 2020 and Best of Spring 2021: in practice, this new collection represents nothing more than the third chapter of a trend that has been going on for a while now (and that at the end of the year could be enriched by the fourth, namely Best of Fall 2021).
As we learn from 9to5Google, the common denominator used by the Google Photos algorithms for the choice of images and videos to be included in the Best of Summer 2021 collection could be nature, sun and good weather (although it seems that some photos inside museums).
In case you happen to see the Best of Summer 2021 collection of memories at the top of Google Photos, your images and videos may also differ from these photos, as due to restrictions for the Coronavirus (although loose for the summer) the algorithm may have difficulty selecting the ideal contents (without excluding the hypothesis that the choice may be completely random or based exclusively on the summer period).
