Samsung Internet introduces exciting features with the new beta

Although Samsung Internet is already the browser of choice for many smartphone and tablet users, the company has continued to improve it. As usual, the important changes arrive first on the beta channels to be properly tested before landing in the stable versions. Samsung’s new browser beta is now available and introduces a handful of new features.

Searching in Samsung Internet 16 beta improves with advanced tips. As you type in the address bar, the browser now shows more relevant search suggestions based on the entered text, bookmarks and browsing history. For example, Samsung Internet can show weather information directly in the search suggestions tab when you type “weather” followed by a location.

Support for page zoom and new Chromium engine

Samsung Internet 16 beta allows you to zoom in on text and user interface on all websites, regardless of whether or not they support zoom, but there are currently no options to save zoom levels for each website. With the release of Samsung Internet 16 Beta, the company has also upgraded the web engine to Chromium M92 to support new features.

Some monitoring sites use small, almost invisible images to maliciously track users on different domains, slowly creating a profile about the user. Samsung Internet 16 beta intelligent anti-tracking is now capable of blocking image-based malicious trackers camouflaged in these websites.
