Edge test new features, call the Wikipedia data display website for more information

By observing the small lock icon on the left side of the URL address bar, we can easily determine whether the page we visit is securely encrypted by HTTPS. Now, Microsoft is working hard to make the information in the website’s pop-up window more useful, adding actual information from the Wikipedia website.

In the Edge Dev and Canary channel versions, there is a toggle button for the above function, but this function is only open to a small number of users. This information adds some Wikipedia entries to the website information pop-up window.

It also includes links to the social pages of the site. Microsoft also hopes to add a bottom panel that will display relevant information about the website in a special pane.
