Desktop Google Lens Optimization, Search results can be opened in the sidebar

While introducing Google Lens to the desktop, Google is still further optimizing this feature. When I tried this feature two weeks ago, the search results will open in a new tab, and now Google’s optimization will open the search results in the sidebar.

The use of the sidebar is the same as favorites and Google’s Reading List, and users can also choose to open the results in a new tab. The panel will also allow users to upload pictures or drag and drop pictures.

Interestingly, given the degree of integration between Google Lens and Google services, this feature will also support alternative search providers. Google is currently testing a new form of presentation in the Chrome Canary browser, and if it decides to adopt a new look, it will probably bring it to mainstream users.
